Sad watching ai idiots kill self published technical books. Every new “author” I’ve been finding has somehow released 20+ books this year and know every game dev and other programming subject at the expert level according to their book summary.

Why is there no way on audible to sort books by what I last listened to. I'm listening to a book I bought years ago and never got around to and have to scroll past everything I've bought since then every time I bring it up in the browser to listen on my laptop.

So many people want to spend so much time trying to find flaws in Daggerheart that could be spent finding one of the hundreds of other TTRPGs that could easily replace DnD.

This is such a great game. Picked it up earlier this year and lost like 2 weeks of my free time until I 100%ed it.
I've never been a console doomer. Personally I hope home consoles stick around for a long time. But between the upcoming switch 2 prices and publishers trying to fast track going from 60 to 90 dollar price tags I think the next generation from everyone is going to flop hard.

Every year I end up getting the itch to work on a small 2d focused game engine that I mostly rewrite from scratch every time using different approaches.
It's a fun exercise and I learn something new about engine development each time, which I love, but I haven't finished any small games in years.

I've been introducing a friend to UC Gundam in timeline order (mostly, skipped The Origin and Thunderbolt to save them after we get done with everything else). And it is hilarious to me that Gundam had the "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR" scene before X4.

Not gonna lie I really want to post here often, or interact with others and find some mutuals but I left Twitter back before Musk took over, along with "retiring" my facebook (needed for family connections), and deleting my reddit account. I'm still exhausted from dealing with social media.

If you liked Arcane seriously try League of Legends. The people trying to scare people aware are wrong imo. Mobas are some of the most fun I've had in gaming over the years. And the toxicity is easier to avoid than being on X.
