We need to call Ford and call Calandra and tell them to leave our trustees (and local democracy) alone. Tell them to address the real issue and provide adequate funding for our public schools!

The problem is not the kids.

It’s cuts to funding to support the needs of the kids.

Community mental health. EAs. Special education and ESL teachers. OT. PT. CYW.

Classroom teachers are not therapists or specialists.

Inclusion without support is abandonment.

It is a moral injury to watch vulnerable children with complex needs being denied the support they need to be safe and successful at school.

Doug Ford has inflicted this injury on every educator and education worker in Ontario’s public schools.

How long will our schools have to suffer before this gov't steps up? Since 2018, under the Ford gov't, we’ve seen a loss of 6.35 billion from our education system. We need to prioritize our children and provide support for our schools. We can do better, and we must do better.
