The nice Christian woman from church has now been trying to look up what furries are for a number of hours, and I don't know where she's been looking for that information, but she just went "there's safeguarding guidelines for schools on furries" and I regret everything that led me to this moment.

So sad and angry to see these last ancient oaks in parts of Killarney NP, unable to regenerate for at least the last half century due to invasive sika deer and goats.

If it continues, when the trees die, the most important of Ireland's last rainforests will die with them.

Good sunset tonight, during Evening Prayer the sky lit all the church windows pink and purple, like advent hangings unfurled across the sky.

Ireland will never enter into a socialist federation with Britain *not* for historical reasons or because national self-determination will continue to be important under socialism but because that c. 130 Square km Island sits on top of an actually-existing gateway to Hell, which is real

Galway shawls were a specific type of heavy-weight shawl worn by Irish women. This illustration is a representation of some of the patterns and styles of galway shawls, surrounded by lyrics from the traditional Irish folk song of the same name. www.ciaraioch.com/artprints/p/...

Apparently one of the reasons women's clothing stopped having pockets was because it was assumed that men would be carrying their valuables, but when I use the hollowed-out carcass of the man I sacrificed under the last blood moon to hold my keys or phone suddenly I'M the bad guy

we fixed acid rain! we fixed the ozone layer! we beat polio! we’ve rescued scores of species from the brink of extinction! the despair many of us feel about climate change isn’t that it’s too big to fix. it’s that we know it is fixable but we’re being thwarted by greedy ghouls at every turn.
The other day I was like “you know something we heard a lot about as kids was acid rain, why don’t we hear about it anymore”

TURNS OUT we fixed it???
