If the GM gives you a boost of some kind for playing your character's disadvantage, then is it really a disadvantage?
Play your damn characters flaws, it's your part of the social contract. You get nothing for it except perhaps an honorable death.

When I started writing Heart of Glass the main goal was create an adventure that:
1. Had audio logs in the form of cassette tapes that the investigators find.
2. Was like a Coen brothers thriller with a lil Twin Peaks thrown in.
3. Featured a town in the midst of a Satanic panic.

I would like all fantasy games to have a page of common sayings that are said by various cultures, and ideally ones that are AT LEAST ONE step more colloquially odd than "Let me preach their values directly".
