Currently writing a short story about the worst person I can imagine wreaking vengeance for a terrible wrong done against her. I would call it a "good for her" story except I honestly don't like her either and that's on purpose.

Very tasty to put an unlikable character in a bad situation. Like damn this is awful and I sympathize, but GOD you suck so bad, and you're going to rise above this to become even worse.

Underrated character motivation: completely unreasonable or irrational revenge quest. No, not when a character thinks another character was the cause of their suffering through a misunderstanding. I mean the worst day of their life happened and they swear vengeance on Chad, who was also there.
