i think what gets overlooked is that part of the humor and charm of edits like these is that you're perfectly aware that someone sat down and spent their own time making it. they chose to do something cool or silly or stupid or genius, regardless of the results

If there are any consequences of Hollow Knight and Silksong's existence, it would be this honestly. Plus the myth of *only* 3 developers working on the these games nakes it look like all indie devs/artists/etc have those skills, increasing expectations to unreproducable heights
The next wave of indie pain will be delusional game publishers asking other indies to cram 7 years of development into 1-2 years to try and replicate this.

The saddest part about ADHD is when I'm struggling and need help, I'm told it's got pros and cons, not to keep bringing disability up, or it's a superpower, and so it's not all bad and I should focus on how it's great — and when I'm fiercely independent I'm told to ask for help since I never do. 🥲

I watched Joel/Vargskelethor play this as part of a PS1 demo disc and it was legit one of the scariest (and most interesting) things I’ve seen in a good long while, so I’m super excited to back the Kickstarter on this.

New update out for the P5R Custom Bonus Tweaks mod!
This update was entirely focused on converting all of the pre-rendered movie events into fully in-engine variants so that character swap mods have better compatibility with the game itself!
