I have to say America, if a story came out regarding a Labour/Tory or any party PM that he had been accused of doing the things Trump has been accused of doing, then he’d be out of Downing Street within hours…

What are you doing? Where are you?

if you do need to but anything today (and something to consider in general) cash purchases are the way to go! the less money banks & credit card companies make off the merchant terminals = less money for them to invest in war profiteering and state surveillance

Choosing sides between a rogue president bent on destroying the Western alliance and UK and EU governments finally standing up to him shouldn’t be difficult for mainstream political parties or news organisations. So come on Telegraph, Times, Badenoch and yes you Farage if you want to be PM…

Non-expert thought of the day: Machine learning is excellent. LLMs are very different from machine learning, and they are unethical and untrustworthy shite. This is why "AI" should never be used a catch-all phrase for both technologies.

I left Twitter a long time ago. It was a cess pit then and is worse now. Anyone who continues to use it risks legitimising it's appalling management, grim content and misinformation.

Bluesky appears to be relatively benign. I value the platform it offers, and will continue to post here.

Another beautiful Shchedryk performance amidst ruins.

It was set in what used to be a DTEK thermal power plant — now destroyed by russia.

The contrast between russia’s destructive nature and the Ukrainian will to create beauty even in the darkest times is palpable.

Putin rails against “Western elites” while being mega-rich after a lifetime in government. His circle sends their kids to Western schools, buys villas, passports, and mega-yachts, and hides wealth abroad.
He isn’t anti-elite, he’s the elite of elites. Hypocrisy, exposed.

Who believes this shit?

Word of the day, should you be feeling a little huffish, is ‘apanthropy’ (18th century): a love of solitude and the desire to be away from other people.
