It's The Most Wonderful Card Of The Year Tuesday! as 2025 comes to a close, share your favourite new (or new to you) magic card!

After thinking about it more my favourite new card from 2025 is Depthshaker Titan! There’s a couple close seconds but this one is just to perfect for my Jolene deck! 😆

OG PS1 controllers in different colours have become one of my favourite periphs to pick up. <3

And yeah, genuinely enjoy using them for a lot of PS1 ones that don't absolutely benefit from an analogue stick.

These two images of Chinese train driver Han Junjia were taken less than 30 years apart.

"It’s safe to say that in the second week of January in 1977, the film business had no idea what was about to land at the turnstiles from a galaxy far, far away. But they were warned with this teaser ad. From the Jan. 12, 1977, edition of Variety."

Gen 1 Pokemon box art complete 🫡

This nostalgia blast started with finishing Let's Go Pikachu and I love how they turned out! I want to see if I can get them made as small acrylic blocks. they'd look cool as little desk buddies while I slave at spreadsheets 🤔

This and TURNING RED are a masterclass in messy animated female characters.

They’re allowed to be goblin-y, petty, selfish, loud, make weird goofy faces, do things wrong, and they have baggage and flaws that aren’t just “I’m a manic clumsy optimist, uwu!”

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

i would also throw a good chunk of the blame here at doug walker, especially given his moniker including the word Critic as if that meant something
I was thinking about flaw-focused mockery culture of CinemaSins and I think the issue is "critique for info" vs "critique for LOLz." We've lost the former. In creative writing, they teach you to lead critiques with positive, then critical, and to be kind. We've built a culture around the opposite.
