Visiting Lincoln, I was lured into the lovely little bookshop Lindum Books at 1 Bailgate, LN1 3AE.

I enjoyed the TV adaptation of Magpie Murders, so I decided to buy the book, and I’m currently reading it 😀

Played a game of Terraforming Mars with family and friends last night and it was amazing fun as always. I came third this time - I had more great blue cards than normal, but struggled to increase my plant capacity!
Very close to the end grave of for player terraforming mars. Oxygen and water are at max, and only four heat to go. A wide range of cards deployed on the table!

One of my Christmas presents is this delightful ttrpg by @annablackwell.bsky.social that I spotted at Tabletop Scotland, and that my youngest daughter bought for me. I’m looking forward to getting into it!

Spent the day as a family reading in silence together as a kind of #jolabokaflod

I chose the second of Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club books and I think it is an improvement on the first one. Lots of twists and turns, clues in plain sight. 400 pages, some very moving.

Love seeing the game in its final form - the graphic design is tremendous and full of flavour!

I noticed a double word glitch (two ‘being’ s under periscope) in case that’s helpful
hard to the point where unbuttoning and searching, with your naked eyes being (arguably) being the best of your options

What is going on with this @notability.bsky.social icon?

The original one is great - combining a pencil with a microphone to highlight that it can record while you take notes. Perfect. The new icon though? Looks like it was drawn by a 4 yr old with MS Paint!

What are they thinking?
Earlier icon that shows a pencil but instead of a rubber at the end it has a microphone. The pencil shows colour and shading that gives it dimensionality current icon is a crude flat diagram if a square attached to a triangle with a black triangle for a tip. It is almost as wide as it is long. It barely looks like a pencil and has no indication of the recording functionality

There was a Metatopia talk about pitching a while ago that suggested having a good view of the hook, the napkin pitch, the elevator pitch, the tag line, and the sales pitch. Summarised as per this picture:
