Video Editor/Filmmaker with rejection sensitive dysphoria foolishly trying to be noticed on a social media site. Is this a recipe for disaster? You betcha! Sometimes posts animation clips from film I’m working on.

I am still making this very long animated film.
One frame at a time.

Logged in for the first time today and first post I see is some critic obnoxiously talking shit about Spider from AVATAR: FIRE & ASH.

Blocked and moved on but come on algorithm. First post? Really?

In physical media news, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be releasing "OVER THE GARDEN WALL" on Blu-ray on April 7, 2026, per a listing on Barnes and Noble's website. First Blu-ray release of a Cartoon Network original in 10 years.

I just love good movies, y’all.
And I respect bad movies that try.

I hate lazy movies though.

This image will always stick with me. (And the name…)

My fear is expectations are going to be so low for this that it’ll end up receiving so much unearned hyperbolic love and praise simply for the footage being in focus.
Like 90% Rottentomatoes score and call for Oscars.

And then six months later people revisit it and go “Wait… this is horrible!”
The more I look at Avengers Doomsday the more I fear it’s gonna backfire horribly

It’s so blatantly a panic move from almost every angle. From bringing back RDJ & Chris Evans to scraping literally everything with Kang to shoehorn Dr. Doom in so last minute the Fantastic 4 were only JUST introduced

Watching original GHOSTBUSTERS with my dad and always amazed how so much of this movie from my childhood is so horny.
I remember being a kid wondering what was going on during the Ghost Blowjob scene and now as an adult the Ghost Blowjob is aspirational.

To all the AVATAR naysayers:
I love these movies but if you don't, or if you even hate them, well that's cool and I support your views.
But you don't need to watch them & should accept others do love them & they are films made with care & have something going on in them.
I'm just saying -

So CHERRY, THE GRAY MAN, that $400M budgeted Amazon spy show and THE ELECTRIC STATE all being financial and critical embarrassments was also always part of the plan too i guess?
Russo Brothers on Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

"The character that changed our lives. The story that brought us all here together. It was always going to come back to this”

One (of many reasons) why I think the “Captain America is Back” DOOMSDAY ad played to complete silence at my AVATAR 3 screenings is cause Chris Evans has been steadily working but hasn’t been good in a watchable movie since 2019 (Knives Out).

FRIENDSHIP.
Lol. What the fuck did I just watch?!
Pure insanity.
I don't even know what is reality anymore.
Be warned: If anyone asks you to go see the new Marvel, it's supposed to be nuts DO NOT GO.
Need to lie down and rethink what is humanity.

(I loved it)

Vulture doing the good reporting so people freaking about the one thing the filmmakers obviously didn’t do can relax.
Kiri and Spider kissed in ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, but Sigourney Weaver and Jack Champion did not. She explains how she ‘obviously’ wasn’t going to kiss Champion, who was a teenager at the time of filming.

“Fire and Ash, like its predecessors, isn't a movie for the cynical”
EXACTLY!
And that’s part of why these masterful movies are the easy target for BlueSky, home of the most cynical people on Earth.
Love these earnest wonderful movies!

i don’t think everyone needs to like every film but the way people refuse to even take the avatar series seriously in any capacity feels so performative in a way no other series has ever been treated, very odd to me

I enjoy Nolan's movies but I don't LOVE Nolan's movies.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and OPPENHEIMER are my favorite movies of his and I like Matt Damon Movie Star and hope THE ODYSSEY is great but I'll need to see more than the trailer to get my mojo flowing.
