"What can I do right now that will make his harms less damaging? What do people need to keep safe?"

2025: work to stop GOP + 15%

Holy crap. The DOJ is arguing that the President can unilaterally deport anyone he wants without ANY statutory authority, just on his inherent authority as President over national security.

That is a terrifying claim to make and not one that has ever been recognized before in US history.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

My question to House Republicans: Do you support giving seniors the dental, vision, and hearing care they deserve? Today, I helped introduce a bill to ensure Medicare covers all essential care. Our seniors can’t wait—bring it to a vote.

Good question. @joshtpm.bsky.social may have better info. But the Dems to push on the funding fight to rein in Musk include the following:

Bennett (CO)
Gallego (AZ)
Hassan (NH)
Hickenlooper (CO)
Kelly (AZ)
Osoff (GA)
Peters (MI)
Slotkin (MI)
Warner (VA)

Call Fetterman too but he is so useless.
Which democratic senators are at risk of voting in favor of the CR? We should be calling their offices.

The American right is now ideologically closer to countries like Russia, Turkey and in some senses China, than to the rest of the west (even the conservative west).
