After her death, Hilma af Klint shot to fame, securing her status as one of modernism’s most disruptive figures. But her story remains fractured. Was she a saint and prophet, or a fabulist?

Enjoying the Ken Burns documentary American Revolution and love having Paul Giamatti as John Adams again but every time I hear Laura Linney's voice I expect her to be Abigail Adams instead of someone else.

This development isn't surprising, sadly. All the years and life experience of creatives are being drained and repurposed to "allow users to remake songs using artificial intelligence tools." If there's any positive aspect to this, I would love to know. #KLAY 1/2

Millions of workers spoke out demanding that Joe Hill not be killed before his wrongful execution on this day 110 years ago. The movement to spare him had been massive.
Joe Hill Was Killed for Singing Labor’s Song
One hundred seven years ago today, the labor troubadour Joe Hill was executed by a Utah firing squad for a crime he almost certainly didn’t commit. His real crime: singing and agitating on behalf of the working class.
