tv shows should do what sports broadcasts do and thank new audiences that are just now joining them. every five minutes, all the actors should look at the screen, introduce themselves and their characters, and announce which of them is winning the show

Exactly. There's something deeply pathetic about those who are desperate for people to return to Twitter, just so that they can then yell at them.

I’ve seen many liberal, pro-science people leave X for Bluesky, but go back to Twitter because their only reason for existing was yelling at people on the internet. They couldn’t function here.
The reason I left X was to get away from the flood of that hitting my feed. Much happier here.
