The US is not interested in the wellbeing of the Venezuelan people. They see oil $ and those profits will not flow onto the Venezuelan treasury, but will be confiscated (stolen) by the US. Besides, this is just a trial for the annex of Greenland. Rubio can say no, but they lie to their own Congress.
