Finally have something worth showing with my #lowpoly starfighter in #Godot. It is surprisingly fun to just fly around destroying these asteroids but there are 3000 of them in this scene and most of them break apart to reveal a smaller asteroid within, so it might take a while to get them all...

#lowpoly Starfighter sketch in #blender

I really like how this came out. A lovely combination of ship designs and aesthetics I like and tried out a simple scifi trim sheet collage thing for the texture. The "wings" are meant to be able to fold up under the craft for landing/launching.

It was surprisingly difficult to create a truly low poly #spaceship in #blender that meets my strict visual demands of it looking like an FMV from a fictional game between the years 1993 and 1995, but I think this mocked-up VHS found footage does the job and is really cool!

I've discovered how to use #blender compositor after watching a tutorial to do VHS style effects and frankly, I shouldn't have this power.

Old procedurally generated #spaceship machine I made in #blender. I would play for days messing with all the parameters and nodes and just render anything that came out especially good. I've got hundreds of these renders gathering dust 😅
