What I've learned over the last 10 years of Trump is no one on the right actually "believes" anything. It's all performative to just gain power/control. That's why it's silly to debate them or take anything they say as good faith. It's all a facade.

In Coniston, I toured the Elmwood building, a 55-unit apartment where rents are locked below market for 20 years. This matters because it means people can afford to stay in their community. They don’t have to worry about being priced out or losing their homes.

it’s weird that there seems to be some functionally illiterate younger gen z employees in my workplace. They have been using AI so long they cannot write, or never really learned how to because of so much missed school.

I knew a psychiatrist who observed part of the problem: "Mothers love their sons and train their daughters." Daughters who are uplifted by their Moms to become their own person are likely mourning the lack of men who would appreciate them.

My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it
