INSTITUTIONAL FAILURE

This could’ve been avoided 30 years ago.

Maria Farmer’s 1996 FBI complaint has been unearthed in the Epstein files. It was the first time he was reported to the authorities. And they buried it.

“If the FBI had listened to me in 1996, there would’ve been no more victims.”

If you are tired of people complaining about paywall access to journalism then imagine how tired people are of living in places like America where disinformation is free and journalism is a mandatory paid subscription

This is a very astute observation. I hadn't thought about Keith Kellogg, he just disappeared from the scene. It makes perfect sense that Putin would want to fainthearted guy like Witkoff doing the negotiations. 🗽

Massive defeat for Mike Johnson. Still has to clear the senate, but this is what Dems wanted all along. Johnson has essentially lost control of the gavel after Epstein and now this. Weakest speaker in history.

There is no good argument for not taxing the rich. Trickle down economics has been shown many times, in many places, to work only for the wealthy. The idea that if the top has money, their spending will help the economy does not account for greed! Make them pay their share!

One of the many, many defeats we have had to swallow as we continue to struggle.
#OtD 17 Dec 1906 cotton factory owner Ignacy Poznanski locked out his workers in Lodz, Poland, after they protested against sackings of militants. They held out for three months but were defeated in a major setback for the local working class stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/8865...

Nothing more than perceived wealth that doesn’t exist for the purposes of taxes, but magically does for the purposes of leverage. Meanwhile, the rest of us pay real taxes on low wages and can’t leverage shit. The game is rigged. Tax the rich.
The world’s richest person just hit another major milestone thanks to the soaring valuation of his rocket maker SpaceX.

There hasn’t been enough appreciation for how thoroughly BENNIE THOMPSON humiliated FBI official GLASHEEN after he tried to sell the lie that ANTIFA is the top domestic terror threat.

The claim collapsed because it’s a cover.
