The fact that we have corporations spending Billions of dollars on AI infrastructure and not the same on software development is kinda funny.

American Exceptionalism to me was the fact that a good citizen could take up the duty of POTUS.

Not that one "great man" is the only one that can be exceptional and we bow down to him.

Every cut program, in research, Medicare/Medicaid bills, education, public media was cut to pay for the 83 Billionaire's tax cuts.

Even that wasn't enough. We went into more deficit.

So that the people who are the wealthiest get their "fair" share before the regular people.

This randomly showed up on my feed. Oddly enough I bought from a first time author that was also left high and dry from this situation.

Now cut oil subsidies and see which wins.
$22B of US clean energy projects have been canceled since Jan.
In recent weeks alone, Trump added new wind/solar permitting reviews; essentially prevented new projects on fed land; rescinded Biden-era decisions earmarking coastal waters for wind turbines; yanked approval for massive Idaho wind farm
Trump’s Attack on Wind, Solar Cuts Deeper Than Industry Expected
President Donald Trump is escalating his attacks on wind and solar power from the rhetorical to the tangible, mounting a rapid-fire campaign that exceeds the industries’ worst fears.

Hope to see their content for years to come.

Glad they didn't go to the way of DP review.

About 80% of my grammar suggestions from Microsoft Word are “why not use a simpler word here for clarity?”

No. Fuck you.

I will use a complicated word for evocative precision whenever the muse’s clarion song demands ebullience, vivacity, torpor, or solemnity, you shit-ass suck machine.

The National Science Foundation’s budget for FY24 was $9.06 billion. ICE will get many times more to terrorize people on the US.
If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.

Public: Why are you attacking science?

GOP(Theocracy): There is no attack on science.

NEW: NSF will be kicked out of their building. Announcement will be made tomorrow by HUD Sec. and Governor of VA. HUD will take over the NSF building over the next two years.

NSF staffer: "There is no planning for NSF, no identified future location, appropriation for a new building or a move."

I have this feeling that the communication networks in the administration are so disordered that they actually just follow his dictatorial tweets. Instead of internal memos or direct communication.
Trump is now directing ICE to focus on Democratic-led cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York:
