If you don’t have a large budget or time or access to concrete to make an intersection safer, you can achieve some fairly good results by using paint, plastic sticks, tougher solid curbs and slabs of rock.

Look how @nycdot.bsky.social performed that here in Queens.

A new CDC report shows that pedestrian deaths fell across the rich world 2013-2022 -- but not in the USA.

Americans were 50% more likely to die walking in 2022 than they would have been in 2013.
