She rose to fame on “Hot Zone” and other shows before being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. She said last year that her cancer had progressed to Stage 4.

Joy Reid is whip smart and a joy to watch. Alicia, Symone and Michael are great too, but they should be replacing Joe in the morning ... a show that lost tons of viewers after they made their disgusting, humiliating, boot-licking visit to trump's house.

For the record Joy Reid was the only MSNBC host to invite me on her show. She is a brilliant and engaging host and a weak network just got weaker. Never forget NBC gave you Trump.
