Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

I have no problem buying a better version of a game 2-3 years later because I play games on release, its a replay incentive

The definitive edition re-release has been a thing since the 90s and generally has been a net positive for those games.
So many of my favorite games are a refined re-release of an original game. International versions, Final Mixes, Royals ect.
Replacing them with DLC is a net negative.
