Court-ordered redistricting in Mississippi has given the Democrats an opportunity at gaining a Senate seat in the Memphis suburbs, specifically #SD02.

This district backed Harris by 6 last year and backed Brandon Presley for Governor by 15 in 2023.

I dont think Blutah believers pertains to the maps. Legislature still chops up communities of interest just in a sloppy way that could see two of the seats bouncing between the parties constantly and that isn’t particularly fair it’s just “competitive“

Per Deseret News, Maloy/Moore are seemingly getting the Safe seats, Kennedy is in the Lean Republican seat, and Burgess ”mush mouth” Owens would be in the most competitive seat.

Let me just say if Owens runs on that map and is the candidate, they are losing that seat. His elex history is terrible
