I'm going to say it. There needs to be more official English translations of baihe novels. Danmei has been flourishing on the Western market, but for some reason no publishers want to take the risk on their sapphic book counterparts. Trust me, many beautiful novels deserve the treatment. 🌈📚

despite 南派三叔 being head writer and parts of the iqiyi summary making me 🤨, i'm not actually concerned about the production of 南部檔案 itself. no, the thing i dread most is that no matter how good/bad it is there will be people in this fandom who will invent new forms of mischaracterization about it
