The Trump Admin's unlawful attempt to ban funding—including for programs, contracts or grants—that simply acknowledges the existence of trans people is going to cost lives, full stop.

Trump is weaponizing the government to harm the trans & larger LGBTQI+ community.

i will say that we have never experienced anything like an administration trying to essentially freeze the activities of the entire federal government while making a series of illegal power grabs. genuinely unclear to me what kind of response, if any, these guys are generating against them

Fuck your eggs!!! They’re erasing trans people from existence and ICE is doing raids on elementary schools !!! These are real life fucking issues. Kids are coming home to no parents and trans people are being told they’re not real human beings.

That's what I'm talking about.

I was skeptical at first, but Bluesky really is a fantastic platform for scientists who want to engage in broader public conversations.
