"Not being heard is no reason for silence" ~ Victor Hugo. UChicago '21 & JCU '18.
This week has been brutal, but remember that his shock-and-fear tactic is how he wants to exhaust and control us. Don’t let him.

Don’t postpone joy. Find it anywhere when you feel withered. ✨

“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

Trump's transition is happening over private emails. Federal officials are nervous.
Agencies are weighing in-person requirement for sensitive data.

fondly recalling how after Jan 6 Congress went home for a long weekend, didn't start impeachment proceedings for a week, which then took another month
It took only ~2.5 hrs for the National Assembly to gather a majority of members (190 of 300) and generate a unanimous vote (190 of 190) to vote down the emergency martial law. The law says the president "shall comply" with parliament's vote, but doesn't specify a time frame.

Drinking wine and reading at an airport bar before your flight is an amazing experience even if it essentially costs you your firstborn child.

I find it pretty odd that Trump claims to have nothing to do with project 2025 yet he’s given jobs to all its authors…

With a fully remote team of just 20 employees, Bluesky has surpassed 20 million users in its first year since opening to the public and is stealing thunder from rivals hundreds of times its size.

At a time when conventional wisdom among bosses is that workers must be in-person to be productive.

Please don't call what RFK Jr. and Jay Bhattacharya are going to do medieval. It's not medieval. It's nothing like the Middle Ages. People in the Middle Ages were happy to try all kinds of things to not die of the plague and if you'd given them antibiotics and vaccines they would have loved it.

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.

I was supposed to go for a walk with my friend and she called me being like “where are you?” because I was not at my appointed spot and I had to tell her that I got distracted looking at the leaves. As if we were not about to go on a walk to look at the leaves 🤦🏻‍♀️

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky
