Maia Sandu’s podcast remark on union with Romania sparked confusion far beyond Moldova. It wasn’t a policy signal - but it does echo a century of hard security choices. It’s a a Hypothetical with History.

Moldova’s progress on its EU path is remarkable, dear Maia Sandu.

Moldova just joined the Single Euro Payments Area and the EU’s roaming scheme.

Today in Nicosia, we continue to work together on the next steps towards EU accession.

Making sure all Moldovans will benefit.

What do people in the West usually get wrong about propaganda?

They imagine simple brainwashing. Someone lies. Someone believes it. End of story.
