Expanded bike lanes combined with designated parking zones and a flat-fare structure would be incredible for the climate, safety and livability.

My dog looks like she's worked 60 hours this week and would happily give all her worldly possessions away for a double shot of tequila.

I live in Columbia SC and walk my dog at the Statehouse almost every night and I flip off his monument while she pees on it every fucking time

I hereby call on all my fellow Cubs fans to renounce the 2016 WS victory on the slim chance that it will restore the universe to some semblance of sanity. Felt like a livable trade off for a while but not anymore.

Just finished the #GBBO holiday specials. Both fantastic episodes with good challenges and I’m glad they were both previous bakers rather than celebrities. And Jürgen!!❤️

Cat on a table!

This is Daniel (as in Daniel Tiger). He’s 4 years old. He likes sitting on the new table, scratching the new chairs, hiding under the bed at night so I can’t kick him out of the bedroom, being a momma’s boy, and making me spend all my money on mysterious allergies no one can fix.

Sometimes I think about writing a book and having it show up in a library in New Zealand.

And trying to tell the dyslexic teenager me who was fat and weird and loved learning and words but didn’t understand why writing was so hard and guessed I was just “bright but lazy” for real. Wish he knew.
I've put a hold on a library copy, here in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Aotearoa New Zealand.

I draw custom maps on commission. Maps for books, games, decoration, etc. Here are a couple of examples. There are more on my website, along with a contact form and info about cost, process, etc.

If you need a map, I'm happy to help!

My book, THE POSSIBILITY OF LIFE, is about how we imagine extraterrestrial life through science and sci-fi, and what that can tell us about what it means to be human. Pretty dang proud of it tbh. jaimegreen.net/book

So I think the most disappointing thing that’s happened in the last 7 days is finding out my husband’s best friend has never seen nor has the slightest awareness of the cultural significance of The Princess Bride. None. Zip. Zero. We used to live in a society
