Labor organizing is an important terrain in struggles toward liberation, but labor-centric folks lose me quickly when they frame it, as they often do, as The Struggle. On its own (meaning not explicitly used as a means of wider solidarity and attack) it’s mostly a harm reduction strategy.

Fantasy is such an interesting genre. Specifically modern western ‘swords and sorcery, D&D, tolkien’. Their worlds are always defined by having answers to the big questions. ‘Are we alone in the universe?’ no, ‘What happens when we die?’ Souls survive. ‘How do I change things?’ Personal power.

So true. Software is one of the few areas where every dynamic supports LLM usage:
- Fractal demand constraints
- Very difficult to access
- Relevant context is widely available in the training data (OSS)
- Trivial to provide and receive text
- Extremely easy to detect hallucinations at scale
