So, that would be around 6k in today's dollars. That's about half of what Circuit City (!!) was asking for a cutting-edge, big-screen plasma set in 2000ish. I wonder if the first glimpse of a color TV in the store back then was as impressive.

Radio Catface International is on both 5850 kHz and 5950 kHz! Bitchin'! Both are coming in good tonight on the new (to me) IC-7000 that followed me home from the Star (Idaho) Ham Radio Swap Meet yesterday.
