Ugh. It's that time of year where I have to stop wearing soft awesome fleece and back to normal icky cotton and my autistic sensory self HATES IT. I will get used to it a bit but ugh.

Just look at how we view hoodies. On Mark Zuckerberg, the hoodie is a symbol of whiz kid meritocracy breaking norms and developing the New Economy. On people like Trayvon Martin, the hoodie is sometimes seen as proof of criminality. Again, it's about the bodies beneath the clothes.

My inability to work is not my moral failing.

This is my concern about the transmission-blocking vaccine and why my excitement tempered. Just like people won’t wear a mask to protect others, it’s gonna be hard to encourage them to get a vaccine that will help others but not themselves.
