Sunday family spin from London Bridge to Cold Blow Lane for an awesome play street in the tunnels, now closed to traffic and a space for kids and parents. The route almost all on protected cycleways, so our 7 yr old son could ride the whole way there and back.

Celebrating #CarFreeDay in Lambeth today, with another unforgettable #KidicalMassLond and @ibikelondon.bsky.social ride. Enormous thanks to all the ride marshals, music bike riders, @solveschoolrun.bsky.social, ride lead @rahario.bsky.social and all the children, parents and friends who joined!

Looks great, but can't help thinking more space for pedestrians is needed. And some protected cycleways on Wigmore and Margaret Streets.

Top work from @lambeth_council too showing what car free high streets can and should look like. Ethan managed a full 9 miles (14km) powered by 🍊🍌 🧇 🧁 before blending his own smoothie and trying out some assisted bikes courtesy of the awesome @wheelsforwellbeing , then jumping on train home.

Great presentation by the LCC Women's Network at the 2025 London Walking, Wheeling and Cycling Conference. Well done Kate! 👏

Reminder: London's Cycleways need to be routed through safe places - eg not parks - to work for everyone 24/7 🚨

New analysis by @healthequals.bsky.social emphasises the inequities of exposure and vulnerability to #AirPollution, & shows how far we still have to go to clean up our air.

Great to see more bike hangers finally arriving in the south of the borough.
This one on Amblecote Road (Grove Park).

Looks like Forest dockless bikes have arrived too. Hopefully the parking bays will be here in next few months.

We're spending more on subsidising the purchase of EVs than we are on active travel for the next 2-3 years.
A good connected transport network and politics that gave people real choice would be utopian.
