I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Articles like this are why your dementia-ridden wannabe king is threatening to invoke the Act. @cnn.com is complicit in furthering the narrative and encouraging the slide into authoritarianism

As an outsider and a naturalized immigrant to Canada this is the part I don't get. If someone moves to your country, gets a job, pays taxes, contributes to society and the cultural landscape...why do they not get the same benefits that someone born there does?

The end of due process is the end of due process. How does a citizen prove they are a citizen?

When the legal status is compromised for one group it is compromised for all.

I understand this. Please tell me you do, too.

They blame another group. Maybe the Irish. Or Italians. Maybe eventually it’s everyone with brown eyes. You blame and persecute to avoid responsibility. The logical conclusion of Fascism is one angry bigot, alone on the planet Earth, screaming at the dirt to grow something.

So here is my question. Let’s assume Miller & Co. are successful, i.e., they deport, jail, kill, all of the “undesirables.” What do they think society is like then? Like, what happens when they realize there’s still crime, drugs, and no one around to do half the jobs, from manual to skilled labor?1/

The chances of us even having another election, or an election where they honor the true results, appear to be dwindling by the day.

Weaponized gratitude is a key tool in the abuser's toolkit. The goal is to convince the victim that they owe the abuser so much, they should feel guilty for wanting to complain.
Tweet from the VP:
Joy Reid has had such a good life in this country. It's been
overwhelmingly kind and gracious to her. She is far wealthier than most.
Yet she oozes with contempt.
My honest, non-trolling advice to Joy Reid is that you'd be a much
happier person if you showed a little gratitude

They do this stuff and then the US Ambassador to Canada says it's our fault for not going to the states.

As a student of history and one time history teacher: That's not what history teaches us. It teaches us that eventually people like Trump and Hegseth end up significantly shorter, or hanging from a lamppost

Hegseth: "As history teaches us, the only people who actually deserve peace and those who are willing to wage war to defend it. That's why pacifism is so naive and dangerous."

At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

Trump opens with a threat to the generals:

"I've never walked into a room so silent … Have a good time. And if you want to applaud, you applaud ... If you don't like what I'm saying, you can leave the room. Of course, there goes your rank, there goes your future. but you just feel nice and loose."

Ladies and gentlemen, the meritocracy
Ms. Halligan, who took over on Monday after her predecessor quit rather than prosecute James B. Comey with what he believed was insufficient evidence, had a little trouble with the first two tasks. At one point, she entered the wrong courtroom. When she found the right one, she stood on the wrong side of the judge, then appeared confused about the paperwork she just had signed.

He'll attempt to change the order perhaps and make it President first, MAGA first, and then maybe mention the constitution.

It's a loyalty test either way, he wants to purge generals who don't toe the MAGA line

Requiring them to swear oaths to the President, not the Constitution.

Straight out of the Germany 1936 playbook

In 1935 German leadership called a surprise meeting and informed their previous oath to uphold the Weimar constitution was now void and they instead must swear a personal oath to the Führer. Many claimed they didn’t like the order, but they did it anyway.

Erika Kirk showing forgiveness is a traditionally feminine role, while Trump is displaying masculine dominance and anger.

In the eyes of MAGA, of course. It's unhinged.
