Today, I learned that someone I used to work closely with took their own life about a month ago. We weren’t close enough that I had any idea that he was struggling, but it still hit me pretty hard.
He was 7 years younger than me.

I cannot overstate how much I hate visual coding and blueprints. It just does not work for my brain. Don't make me scroll around a canvas looking for nodes. I'm used to lines of code, CTRL+F is all I need in a script file. Ugh!

Amazon calling Valve a small company says everything right there. It’s the most profitable company per employee in the world. The mindset on display is hilariously ignorant.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

Life hack? I once walked drunkenly into a pizza place and ordered a pizza for delivery and asked if I could get delivered along with it. They laughed but said yes. I tipped well and never asked again. But it worked!
