Did Putin make Bob Kraft the commissar of Massachusetts oblast? Nope, just pocketed the ring and chuckled. Correct read here I think.
If Machado was trying to convince Trump that she was a strong leader who could handle Maduro’s thugs while keeping the oil flowing, giving Trump her prize was the exact opposite way to do that. What an epic fail allowing herself to be used like that by the charlatan.

21-year-old activist injured by ICE:

I will be blind for life. I have fractures in my skull that they can't fix. They pulled a piece of plastic the size of a nickel out of my eye. I had shards of metal, glass, and plastic behind my eye and in my skull. They said it was a miracle I survived.

It annoys me so much when this dorkass loser does his whole Foghorn Leghorn "I'm just a good ole boy from the South who don't understand these elites" schtick with that syrupy drawl he puts on.

John Kennedy is NOT from the sticks. He comes from a long line of southern elites.

I have no insight into Slotkin’s reasoning, but I think she would have loved to do Bipartisan work with the Republicans and they are apparently trying to turn her into an opposition hero. The opposite of coalitional politics, from a government that badly needs allies but doesn’t seem to know it.
U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin says federal prosecutors investigating her
The report, confirmed by U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin's office, comes after she and other Democrats urged military personnel to resist unlawful orders.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

Pritzker: The Insurrection Act is designed for circumstances where your rights can’t be protected by local authorities

This is exactly the opposite.

Your civil rights are being infringed upon by CBP and ICE, and then they want to call in troops claiming that they’re protecting CBP and ICE.
