I tell ya, this one kid called me and my fellow cenobites with the puzzle box, and I give him the usual shpiel, yknow “we will take you to a realm of infinite pleasure and pain” and lemme tell ya, he looks right back at me and says “no thanks, I already have twitter!”

“Kids these days, I tell ya, back in the day we used to have HUNDREDS of unsuspecting creeps opening the portal to hell, but now these kids don’t even know what a puzzle box IS! They’re too busy scrolling and tiktoking!”

disclaimer, enjoy or hate your movies as you see fit. But don't be surprised if your ignorance gets called out since too many people confuse "objectivity" with "critical" and "critical" with "hatred."

That would certainly explain the “All Good Things” Enterprise D’s extra nacelle…

Speaking of that episode, the Pasteur always struck me as a more logical evolution of the basic federation ship design.

But if the mass of the nacelles relative to the size of the rest of the ship is important to the function of warp, why does the Enterprise have two nacelles but this one only has one? Does enterprise have an extra nacelle for no reason? 😭

Is it bad that I immediately clocked it was Duff Man?

This might just be my opinion, but there’s something about Star Trek ship designs that try to miniaturise certain areas but keep the scale of others that feels… weird? Like if the technology of the federation has improved to the point where the warp core is so small, why is the nacelle so big?
