Really good thread about SUPERMAN and about audiences not accepting ideas they don't like. I would add that I also think part of this is that a lot of people spend way too much energy trying to predict a twist instead of just engaging with the story as it's being told. Let yourself enjoy surprises!

I still feel like this place is way worse for threads than Twitter was, but now that SUPERMAN is on HBO Max, I want to discuss a frustrating thing about how some audiences - especially genre and comic book fans - engage with stories they don't like.

The thing holding up my releases is how I’ll handle ISBNs. I can’t publish to a retailer without my own since I don’t believe in exclusivity for my work. But them shits are connected to your personal info. I don’t have an office. And I don’t want my home addy attached to my product.
