A dystopian week in MN: ICE commits murder. My immigrant heritage patients and coworkers are terrified. ICE seems to be everywhere. Tonight we decided we should go support our local Mexican restaurant which has been being harassed by ICE. Half the community was there doing the same. I LOVE MN.

For many months now my nurse and I have asserted that when ICE shows up at clinic, which is likely to happen, she and I will need to be the ones to step forward because "they won't shoot middle aged white ladies". Apparently that assumption is wrong. They'll kill any of us who anger them.
