Stephen Miller is trying to get rid of Habeas Corpus which a power of Congress (constitution.congress.gov/browse/artic...).

The president can only suspend the writ after Congress has passed legislation allowing it.

The WH is making threats upon the courts if they don't fall in line.

The way we were treated at Delaney Hall is almost unbelievable. ICE shoved me, manhandled @repbonnie.bsky.social, and arrested Mayor Baraka.

They disrespected us and tried to stop us from conducting the oversight we’re elected to do. But we’ll never back down in our fight for what is right.

To be clear: the Trump administration is trying to send migrants to Libya specifically *because* of their gross human rights record - not in spite of it.

They want people to be afraid to come here, so they’re sending them to the worst places they can find.

Understand that Trump won’t give up power willingly; malignant narcissistic sociopathic fascists don’t—by definition.

So if his power is waning in Congress, it makes him _more_ dangerous—as he’s not going to allow separation of powers to stop him. We mustn’t apply conventional analyses to this man.
