Received a wonderful nap yesterday into today. And all it took was Roc, Precedex, and Propofol… Procedure is done with only moderate discomfort. My neck and throat also hurt from the intubation.

I rushed back to FL in time for my “preop” appointment to finally get some relief, only to wait for 3 hours and spend less than 5 minutes with the PA telling me they never scheduled the procedure and the soonest it can be done is mid-January. Fucking joke. Been trying to get it done since May…

I have one more appointment tomorrow, then the rest of the month off. I had 3 appointments this week so far over the last 2 days and had to nap both days. I did challenge a different expressway today which is progress. Now to try and sleep. Night frens.

My ID doctor literally admitted today that they will not treat my UTIs until they turn into bloodstream infections. Or else they’re just “colonizations”… They said, if I wanted a second opinion, I could go to another hospital (they have a monopoly at the one I go to) They keep saying it’s for my 1/

So insurance companies and healthcare orgs get into agreements to see what each will pay. Once OOP is reached, as long as you’re in network, whatever insurance doesn’t cover the healthcare org drops. So how is it, can an org decide 5 years later, they aren’t going to honor that and I owe $6k?…

My doctor wrote a prescription for my medical supplies for 2 years. Now, the supply company say the require an “updated prescription with a visit and notes every six months”… Of course this happens at the end of the year when insurance and medical expenses are expected to double…

It’s extremely frustrating that I’m told not to use the portal because my issues require “emergent interventions”. But, then I’m waiting 2 days to get a call back from the Dr’s office. Like pick a struggle, is it emergent or not… (Yet, I’m the problematic one for only using the portal)… 🫤👈🏽
