The courts have just told ICE that these rules can’t stand. Rightly so—ICE can’t be allowed to operate in the dark.

If you are inclined to read @wilwheaton.net book Still Just A Geek, I recommend getting the audiobook, because he has a lot of recent commentary on things he wrote five years ago, and reflecting on things he wrote 20+ years ago.

As a fan of SF and with many of the same DX… it’s a good read.

This isn't hyperbole. In 2023, I watched Cigna revoke approval for my friend Carole's life-saving lung transplant *minutes* before surgery was set to begin—a decision that very nearly killed her.

Public outrage in response to a viral post about her situation is the only reason she's alive today.

Confabulation: confident, detailed fabrications without any awareness they’re false. As the brain’s frontal lobes and their networks degenerate, a person’s ability to evaluate whether a memory is accurate weakens.

Trump's symptoms don’t align with Alzheimer’s, but with Frontotemporal Dementia.
DAMMIT It's Not Alzheimer's! Here's Why It's A Far Worse Nightmare Scenario
You deserve the facts, not conjecture. Alzheimer's diminishes a person. Trump's not diminishing, he's escalating, and you need to know the frightening reason why.
