I played Christmas NiGHTS early in the morning on Xmas eve this year. I will only play it around this time every year, because it still leaves me in tears every time I play it. It is a perfect game to play for this season, and will always bring back vivid memories of my childhood.

Almost like raising prices on consoles and games amid a myriad of other economic uncertainties means less folks can buy said consoles and games!

In additional to all the immediately visible benefits (full speeches, full recognition of categories), I'll say one possibly controversial thing on Oscars' move to YouTube: I don't think AMPAS pulls the trigger on this if they're not looking at The Game Awards and seeing something being done right.

I know this is dystopian and awful and on the merits I absolutely hate it. But as someone with a portrait of my grandmother hanging above my dining room and actually speaks to her from time to time, there are a lot of days where I would give a lot up to hear her voice again.

I literally watched one of the old airchecks of TSSZ News Final over the weekend where Aaron Webber outright said Team Sonic Racing would not have DLC because Sega wanted to give players the whole game, and not piecemeal it. Good times.

Sonic series producer Takashi Iizuka has said in a new interview with Polygon that if the numbers are there they are willing to do more downloadable content for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. So far the team has announced a year of downloadable content, but Iizuka says if the player base is still there and copies are still selling then they are more than willing to expand on this and have perhaps three years of DLC content.
