Massive protests continue in Iran. Some videos suggest security forces becoming more sympathetic to protesters, waving and chanting with them. A group of lawyers with the bar association in Fars province resigned en masse. Flags have been burnt.

We don’t need to “reign in” ICE. We need to completely abolish ICE. This agency has been nothing but terror and abuse since the Bush administration created it in the racist, cowardly, and xenophobic post-9/11 atmosphere of repression in 2003. We don’t need it and are better off without it.
