@lchin3023.bsky.social is my yaoi pet
Every year on my birthday since 21 was spent going out with friends. Since going out with @lchin3023.bsky.social in 2021, my circle has become smaller yet closer and more birthdays have been spent with solely him. Thankful to have someone who spoils my girlboss self so much on my birthday and more.

4 years of loving @lchin3023.bsky.social has been the greatest joy I got to experience this year. A man who doesn't vote against my rights and supports women's rights is becoming a rarity and it's been liberating feeling safe in a relationship for once.

#animeexpo could easily win the Guinness Book of World Records for event with the highest population of unbathed adults. I could literally smell this video.

Congratulations to @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social for his primary victory in the New York mayoral race. What an inspiring and authentic campaign, with a bold vision grounded in justice and powered by the people.

This is what democracy looks like when we listen, organize, and champion civility.

When this man approached a group of protesters waving Mexican flags, the interaction definitely didn’t go how we expected.

Call your rep. Demand a town hall. If they’re GOP and won’t give one, invite a Dem to your district in their place. Congressional switchboard: (202) 224-3121

Wait how many Jan 6thers is it so far that were either killed or arrested by police since the pardoning?
Fresh out of prison after Trump’s pardon, Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was arrested today for assaulting a woman protesting his event.

Call your Reps. Doesn’t matter what party. Your own Reps. Call, often.
My U.S. Rep, a Democrat, held a town hall and explicitly said that THE REASON she was speaking out louder now was because she got so many calls and emails.

DEFINITELY YELL AT THEM. It’s the only language they speak. It’s literally how they gauge public opinion.
One reason we yell at Democratic electeds is because a lot of us live in blue states and THEY'RE OUR REPS. So of course we yell at them when they do a bad job; that's what we do in a democracy! If we had R reps, we'd yell at them, but we've got these Ds, and a lot of them are blowing it.

AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib are mobilizing against Trump’s deportation agenda. They’re offering legal resources, Know Your Rights training, and direct intervention for immigrants targeted by ICE. While Trump escalates raids, they’re fighting for families.

Amazing how much gaslighting the Democrats are showing folks who voted for neither candidate. Those folks knew both sides didn't care about the welfare of women and children in Gaza yet both parties shut down voices of dissent. They also know Republicans will be equally shitty to Gaza.
They'll pave Palestine and put up a parking lot.
Trump: "The US will take over the Gaza Strip."

We can and must: Call/write your sen.s, rep., and governor & tell them they must hold immediate press conferences demanding Musk be removed from access to federal computers and buildings, and a halt to all Senate business until this admin.’s illegal moves ends. We can do it!

After 4 years of living in the Peninsula, I moved out of my very first studio apartment; this was my very first experience truly living out on my own. I shared so many memories here, my bf and I had our very first memories as a couple here, and I was able to fastrack my financial journey here.

Don't underestimate the power of boycotts. Starbucks and McDonalds lost 7-11 billion dollars in the boycotts and missed their Q4 earnings call targets due to them funding Israel. Money talks in this country.

Q: “If they offered you a Star Trek police procedural, would you do it?”

Tawny Newsome: “yes but the first episode would be them all quitting being cops.”

Give this woman the keys to Star Trek now please.

As we see more pro-Trump bias in mainstream media and we see neutral non-profit outlets like NPR get defunded. I've been trying to look for news podcasts that are more neutral-leaning. I understand it's impossible to remove all biases though. Any recommendations?

TIL if I watch an episode of Star Trek(any series) every day for the next 4 years, I will be caught up to where my bf is at in the franchise.

Or in the case of 1 One Piece episode a day, be close to catching up.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.

My heart is heavy.

I will always be thankful for the activism Cecile brought on to fight defunding efforts. Planned Parenthood brought me accessible healthcare at a time where I was no longer covered by my parents and jumping from contract gig to contract gig.

May she rest easy.
“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and to follow our dreams, we are unstoppable.”

Cecile was a force of nature. May her memory be a blessing.

For context, I brought the question of shareholders proposing companies to scale back on DEI to my workplace C-suite and they said that DEI is actually great for business, since my company's target customer base is of all ages, incomes, and demographs. It's great for talent and product inclusivity.
Only a handful of companies have scaled back their #DEI initiatives in response to anti-DEI activism. But hundreds of companies are keeping their diversity, equity and inclusion practices in place. Because #investing in people is good for business.
