Next introducing Dr Alessandra Dantas.

The Dantas group is interested in stress responses, antifungal resistance and in understanding the molecular mechanisms driving fungal adaptation to environmental stressors.

I want to explain a few things and then it might be clearer why UK trans people are upset.
In 2001 I married my wife, Sylvia.
In 2005 I started medical transition. (1/13)

Bref, le changement n'est toujours pas pour maintenant.

I spotted these depressing journals a few months ago and tweeted about it then.

Why do we need to have a race to the bottom in everything these days?

New from The Strain Team:
🎊 Springer Nature Discovers MDPI 🎊

Springer Nature has spawned a copycat journal series called "Discover" mimicking #MDPI journal titles and citation behaviours. We even made a browser game to prove it (see 🔗).

Gross! 😀 1/n

Friends in Sweden and Italy: you have a bit more than a day left to put your contry over the threshold. Germany overtook you in the mad last sprint but you can still make it. Sweden is only missing 307 signatures, Italy a little over 5000.

I strongly believe companies selling antibodies should be held accountable for their product not working according to specifications. In which other field does companies get away with that?
johanduchene.bsky.social
Antibodies don't work.

NLRP3 is by far the most studied inflammasome — yet <30% of commercial antibodies were specific.

Only 4 of 14 tested antibodies detected NLRP3 specifically.

Antibodies must be validated before use.
