SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.
Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:
* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

I feel this one particular statistic says a lot. You can't get more accurate than simply getting to know a transgender person rather than listening to rhetoric. Then you'll understand the truth: it isn't a choice. The only choice is whether to live or not.
