The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

That said, the mint reported a loss of $85 million making pennies last year, which is less than a third of what it cost to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities (est. $200-300 million) 🤷🏻♂️

At this point I think the whole “ceasefire” was a ploy to get Palestinians to go back into Gaza because Israel was running out of targets…
