People and "professionals" that say that they need to use GenAI to generate images based on their ideas so that the artists can work on them are complete assholes. A good description and a crappy sketch is enough. Artists are amazing and talented people that can do mind-blowing illustrations.

It's a great game, the gameplay loop is magnificent and the story is wonderful, like it's been a long time since a game made me philosophize with friends about it. Having said that, I have a few mechanical issues, but it deserves goty anyways

If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.
