I think we're meant to understand that whatever fear they're inspiring is due to their reputation and the reality is that they're nearly extinct. Whether it's the Railroad, the Institute, or something else, they sent Harkness there because not sending anyone would have been suspicious.

Maybe. That still leaves the Minutemen ending, which doesn't force you to attack the Brotherhood.

When Kumail Nanjiani said the Brotherhood in the Commonwealth was on the ropes against its enemies I thought "oh right because the Sole Survivor blew up your ship". I think it's reasonable to think his faction is just everyone who wasn't on the ship at the time and Elder Maxson et al are dead.

That's a fair assumption! I just think Webby has trans girl energy, how ecstatic she gets experiencing girl rites of passage like slumber parties for the first time. My theory can't explain why they gave her a bow as a baby so I ignore it.

Could be, I don't know anything about the context, but yelling at people for old tweets is freak behavior, as is having an archive of screenshots to share with strangers. Obviously Biden didn't make folk hero status, but also none of thus matters, the grass hungers for your gentle touch.
