Stay outta Starbucks
No contract, no coffee 😤
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

This is a very alarming constitutional gray area and Trump is floating it because he’s taking it seriously. Ignoring the ambiguities in the 12th and 22nd Amendments won’t make them go away! slate.com/news-and-pol...

Those comparisons about how "everything Hitler did in the first 50 days was legal under the German constitution" are not aging well.
The firing is clearly illegal under a 2022 law.

The administration is saying that they don't need to follow the law because they, and not the courts, get to decide what which laws are constitutional. It is no different than their saying that they, and not Congress, determine spending.
NEW:

“Security agents escorted the inspector general of the U.S. Department of Agriculture [Phyllis Fong] out of her office on Monday after she refused to comply with her firing by the Trump administration.”

It’s clear that some Jan. 6 defendants plotted their conspiracy to engage in violence at the Capitol while still present in their home states. Blue state prosecutors should consider whether they have jurisdiction to charge these crimes since Trump can’t pardon them.

Saw a great MLK doc today at Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater. Made in 1969, it has no narration (except for some odd poetry interludes). Mostly just fascinating first-hand footage from key episodes: Montgomery, Selma, Chicago, Memphis... 🧵 www.imdb.com/title/tt0065...

Hmm, any tech journos have a clue as to who *hired* Sheryl Sandberg into such an influential position at FB?
Most folks I talked to tonight from the Mark/Sheryl Facebook era are shocked but not surprised by his blaming her, since he did it before. Several expected her to stay silent again, “quietly take credit for being the good cop … ‘See! I'm getting blamed, but that's proof I did something.’” Sigh.

For those of you who don't know why Donald is *obsessed* with wind turbines ("windmills" in his juvenile vocabulary), he sued Scotland to remove turbines in the North Sea, claiming they ruined views from his golf hotel. He lost the case. And had to pay Scotland $290,000. He's still butthurt over it.
