Turns out he was a prison officer! Close enough.

"Did a bomb just go off in this building?"

"No, we'd have felt it, that's the thing about bombs"

Yeah, there seems to be some social dynamic at work where someone becomes the father/mother of the group and can't be suspected. It sort of happened with Paul as well, but not to this extent.

She is good at emotionally manipulating people. Obv that's the game but if you hate her it's annoying, lol.

I can't really see who is going to go for her now but I guess as it goes on there is always some hope just by reduced numbers. A lot of the games have really favoured the traitors also.

She made a massive error last night and nobody noticed. At breakfast she said she knew who was a traitor based on them making a mistake the day before, then at the round table she went for Ellie based on an incident after breakfast. That should be enough but it obviously won't even be noticed.

It's a weird one as I am seeing a fair few people who absolutely hate her but plenty like yourself who quite like her. I feel like often people say this about things when it isn't the case, but it is with her.

Also tonight's "och aye" and "don't cry" etc kinda creepy.

Stephen is grand yeah. Rachel seems to divide opinion.
January 16, 2026 at 9:26 PM
I really agree. Kind of feel squeamish about watching it which I never felt in other seasons.
January 16, 2026 at 9:01 PM
I absolutely despise her. I think the show at this stage is basically some older, stronger people emotionally manipulating those closest to them.
January 16, 2026 at 8:51 PM
It's actually hard to watch. The emotional manipulation and the cluelessness. Rachel is a truly horrible person.
January 16, 2026 at 8:42 PM
It really has, haha. I have to admit I have found it funny for about 18 of those 20 years.
January 16, 2026 at 12:30 PM
Ah, there it is. I'd prefer a really mangled verbal reference, ideally spoken by a politician in the same way as they say "we're now three love up in the polls, but the third quarter is yet to begin", but I'll take this for now.
